Typical workflow
Section titled “Typical workflow”- Maintain plans & options — structural and design options tied to communities.
- Std plan release — publish a plan version to divisions / communities when pricing and estimates are ready (see Plans).
- Coordinate with PM — new releases trigger estimate and bid updates.
- Coordinate with sales — communicate selection deadlines when options change.
Gotchas
Section titled “Gotchas”- Sales cannot contract on a plan that is not released for that community.
- Changing an option after release may require re-estimating open lots — coordinate with project management.
