SMART 2.0 — Service & warranty
Warranty and CSR work spans several apps: SMART 2.0 service/ (hub), Home Owner Portal (homeowner intake), Trade Portal (trade completion), and Blazor Warranty (CSR workspace in many divisions). The database objects are the same — Service requests and Service orders.
SMART 2.0 service/ folder
Section titled “SMART 2.0 service/ folder”Service hub (service/default.aspx) is currently a module hub that may direct you to desktop SMART Service or your division’s CSR tool while additional web screens roll out. If you see “under construction,” use the link on that page or your division standard below.

End-to-end workflow

- Homeowner submits request (portal).
- CSR triages — create lines, set status (
o,q,d,r,c). - Service order to trade with amount and schedule.
- Trade completes work; lien waiver / payment flows like construction POs.
- BC payment via transmission queues.
Typical CSR tasks

- Classify line: warranty vs homeowner vs trade responsibility.
- Dispatch vendor; track aging (
LateAfterthresholds). - Communicate status to homeowner (portal updates).
Desktop SMART Service
Section titled “Desktop SMART Service”The WinForms Service module is retired for most divisions — do not train new users on desktop-only flows unless your division explicitly requires it.
