SMART 2.0 — Production

production/default.aspx is the production hub: launch desktop SMART Production, open web reports, and reach web tools (trade bid import, lien waiver setup, lot schedule flight, trade PO batch). Delays often trigger AgilePoint approvals.

Typical workflows

Lot inquiry (field)

  1. Launch SMART Production from hub or use web construction views if enabled.
  2. Open lot by community + lot number.
  3. Review schedule, open activities, open POs (Schedules, POs).

Enter a delay

  1. Document reason and dates (web or desktop per division).
  2. Submit — may start AgilePoint approval.
  3. Approvers complete form in SMART 2.0 — see Delays.
  4. Refresh lot — schedule dates update when process completes.

Trade bid import

  1. Download template — Excel imports.
  2. trade-bid-imports.aspx → upload → fix validation errors.
  3. Verify bids in SMART Production / PM.

Trade PO batch (cancel / reassign / release)

Use Trade PO batch process when you need to cancel, reassign, or release many trade POs at once:

  1. Choose Cancel POs, Reassign Trade, or Release POs.
  2. Set Division (required), then filters (RTeam, Project, Unit, Activity, trades).
  3. Run Batch Process; use View Canceled POs for audit and Excel export.
  4. Contract coordinators may need this before ratify when SMART reports an open PO must be canceled first.
