SMART 2.0 — Product development
product-development/ is the web hub for plan and community data imports — Excel templates uploaded into SMART. Heavy plan editing may still use desktop SMART Product Development; web focuses on controlled imports and release support.

Typical workflow (standard plan release)
Section titled “Typical workflow (standard plan release)”- Prepare Excel using the downloadable templates on the SMART 2.0 site (
/docs/*.xlsx). - Validate plan IDs and community codes with PD manager.
- Run import page → upload file → review validation messages.
- Fix errors in spreadsheet; re-upload (do not partial-fix in SQL).
- Confirm plans appear on lots / contracts in SMART 1.0 or web contracts.
