SMART 2.0 — Administration
administration/ is for admins and IT only — not everyday builders or sales. Here you manage users, roles, web application access (what appears in WEB_APPS_MENU), menus, reports, and platform alerts.

Typical admin tasks
Section titled “Typical admin tasks”New hire
Section titled “New hire”- Create user (or enable existing AD user).
- Assign roles for desktop SMART modules.
- Assign web applications so
privs.aspxdoes not block module hubs. - Assign reports if they run web reports.
- Verify login on test URL if available.
Termination
Section titled “Termination”- Disable user same day as HR ticket.
- Run termination review page if your process requires it.
- Audit shared mailboxes / delegated access outside SMART.
“User can’t see Sales web”

login.aspxsuccessfully. - Check web-applications — Sales must be in
WEB_APPS_MENU. - Compare with user who works — role diff.
- Rare: wrong database / company context at login.
Security practices
Section titled “Security practices”- Individual accounts only — no shared passwords.
- Least privilege — web app per job function.
- Test in non-production when IT provides it.
- Do not screenshot display-session-vars with PII.
